The College is headed by Dr. M. Lakshminarayana Reddy, Ph.D. in Horticulture from UAS, Bangalore who formerly worked as a Dean of Horticulture, Dr.Y.S.R.Horticultural University, Andhra Pradesh and has the rich experience in teaching, research, extension and administration. He intends to give practical training in agriculture/horticulture to the students so that they can deliver to the needs and challenges faced by the farmers.

The college provides an agrarian based education to the rural youth in the dry tracts of Anantapur district of A.P. The College has good infrastructure for studies and residence. College has a serene atmosphere untouched by regular distractions.
