In the year 2016 J.C. Diwakar Reddy Agricultural College sowed its seeds in the field of agricultural Education under the gallant leadership of Mr. J.C. Diwakar Reddy garu who is also the president of “J.C. Diwakar Education Society.” The College is located at a very pleasant agricultural landscape which is just 12 kms from the town called Tadipatri in Anantapur District.

Mr. J.C.Diwakar Reddy garu is a renowned & irreplaceable Personality in A.P, who hails from an agricultural family, is one of the most experienced Politicians both at the State & Central levels.

He represented Anantapur Constituency as a Member of Parliament, Served as Member of Legislative Assembly for 30 Consecutive years &  also excelled as a Minister in the State government of Andhra Pradesh for many years.

In the competitive era of 21stcentury, the future will belong only to those talents who are able to build a strong foundation and have in-depth knowledge and understanding of their professional field. Agriculture gives more return than the field crops, the horticultural crops are important as its nutritional element is high, It is potential sector with lot of opportunities of employment generation, foreign exchange earnings and overall supporting livelihood sustenance of mankind at large.

Rural Awareness Work Experience Programme

In order to expose the students to the farming situations, the students are made to visit nearby research stations and KVKs to interact with farmers and to observe various demonstrations.

The students are also encouraged to participate in the activities like farmers advisory cells, plant protection advisory cell etc.

The main components of the programme include crop production, plant protection, rural economics, extension programme and research station activities and exposure visit to Agri based industries to acquaint themselves.
